Where to?

Are you learning to read and/or write Chinese? Skritter was a very helpful tool for me when I was studying for the HSK. I’m not hugely into Black Friday, but Skritter is running a great deal: you can get 50% off with my (affiliate) link. If you purchase through that link, you get a discount, and I get a little commission, which I use to make more language learning content. Thanks in advance!

Interested in working or studying with Meridian Linguistics? We train language lovers to provide translation and data annotation services for AI/Machine Learning. Our website and courses are here.

About me: I’m an American linguist (language specialist).

In my former life as an academic, I studied how languages are structured and how they are acquired in the human brain. Those studies helped me learn several languages, despite my initial struggles with high school Spanish.

Now I run Meridian Linguistics, which provides Asian language translation and data services to technology companies. I also speak about language and culture at corporate/coworking events, and blog about how to learn languages at misslinguistic.com.

Based in Beijing.
